Job Title: Senior Fire Safety Inspector

Role Overview
The Senior Fire Safety Inspector will lead the Central Fire Safety Team at Carrow Fire Station. Responsibilities include managing the team daily, overseeing inspections, identifying development opportunities, and providing technical fire safety advice. The role supports the delivery of the Risk Based Inspection Audit Plan (RBIAP) through advisory, enforcement, and engagement duties, and involves leading projects that fulfill statutory fire safety duties and community risk management.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage and develop the Fire Safety Team, including mentoring and linking with operational crews.
2. Carry out inspections, enforcement, and advisory duties aligned with fire safety legislation.
3. Collaborate with local authorities, businesses, and regulatory bodies to improve compliance and joint working.
4. Ensure team compliance with policies, legal requirements, and standards related to health, safety, and equal opportunities.
