Role Description

Data and Microsoft Dynamics CRM play a key role in our digital strategy. As the new CRM and Data Executive, you will translate business needs into technical requirements, contribute future enhancements, manage data governance, and drive user adoption and engagement across the firm.


Key Responsibilities


System development and improvement

* Engage stakeholders and business users to understand needs and gather requirements for system development and improvement.
* Understand Dynamics CRM customisation and configuration capabilities to liaise with developers and write detailed requirements.
* Conduct system testing, including user acceptance testing, to ensure intended features and functionality work as expected.
* Support development and implementation of the integration of Dynamics CRM with other systems such as practice management software, client portal and website.
* Maintain awareness of Dynamics CRM features, exploring opportunities for innovation to enhance capabilities.
* Coordinate with National Technology on project dependencies.
* Stay informed about releases, updates and patches for Dynamics CRM and liaise with developers to assess impact and coordinate releases.
* Evaluate system performance, gather user feedback through surveys and support request trends, and identify improvement areas via training or system updates.
* Collaborate with developers to discuss progress, address issues, prioritise tasks and maintain accurate documentation.
* Consider integration possibilities with other systems interacting with Dynamics CRM.


Data quality and reporting

* Perform periodic data audits and clean‑up activities to maintain reliable, up‑to‑date CRM data in line with governance policies.
* Supervise routine data processes in Dynamics CRM.
* Help coordinate onboarding and off‑boarding processes.
* Act as Dynamics data steward for the firm.
* Develop dashboards and processes to support pipeline management, inform business decisions, increase system use, and identify data quality issues.
* Maintain Marketing & BD reports via PowerBI and other tools.


Support, training and communication

* Provide training resources and conduct sessions to familiarise users with system features and best practices.
* Engage stakeholders in user acceptance testing and in improvement processes.
* Offer ongoing support to address user queries and troubleshoot issues.
* Supervise direct line reports and lead a Dynamics Super User programme.
* Upskill members of the national Marketing & Business Development team.
* Use internal communication channels such as Teams and the Intranet to convey key messages and share best practice.
* Understand and troubleshoot integrations between Dynamics CRM and other Crowe UK systems, escalating issues as appropriate.


Personal and professional qualities

* Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
* Experience in a professional services environment.
* Proven track record of delivering impactful visualisations and reports, preferably using PowerBI.
* Ability to build relationships at all levels and communicate confidently.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Strong business acumen regarding Dynamics CRM and data utilisation.
* Creative problem‑solving skills with the ability to seek guidance appropriately.
* Technical communication skills – present complex information simply.
* Proficient presentation skills.
* Experience with large data sets and dashboards.
* Strong organisational, multitasking, prioritisation and workload management abilities.
* Advanced Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills.
* Brand ambassador for Crowe UK, delivering premium service to stakeholders and clients.
* Flexibility to handle urgent tasks on short notice.
