Electrician / Electrical Installation Assessor (Full Training)£30,000 - £36,000 + Full Training & Qualifications + Excellent Pension + 42 Days Holiday + Hybrid Working + Mileage + Career Progression + Excellent BenefitsCambridge - Covering Cambridgeshire & Surrounding Areas (Hybrid / Field Based)Are you an experienced Electrician or Electrical Installation professional looking to step off the tools and move into a rewarding training role where you can shape the next generation of skilled electricians?Do you want a role offering hybrid working, excellent holidays, outstanding long-term benefits, and the opportunity to genuinely make a difference to apprentices developing their careers?This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly regarded and forward-thinking education provider as an Electrical Installation Trainer Assessor, supporting apprentices throughout their learning journey and helping them build the practical skills, knowledge and confidence required to succeed in industry.In this role, you will manage a caseload of apprentices, supporting them throughout their apprenticeship journey through workplace visits, coaching, assessment and progress reviews. You will work closely with employers to ensure apprentices are developing the required knowledge, skills and behaviours, whilst preparing them for successful End Point Assessment.The position offers excellent flexibility, with a mix of on-site delivery, employer visits and home-based administrative work, providing excellent work-life balance and autonomy.The Role:* Manage a caseload of Electrical Installation apprentices * Deliver coaching, workplace assessments and progress reviews * Support apprentices in developing knowledge, skills and behaviours aligned to apprenticeship standards * Prepare learners for successful End Point Assessment (EPA) * Hybrid working with workplace visits and home-based administrationThe Person:* Level 3 qualification (or above) in Electrical Installation or equivalent * Strong hands-on industry experience within Electrical Installations * Previous assessing, mentoring or teaching experience desirable but not essential * Assessor / IQA qualification advantageous * Good understanding of Apprenticeship Standards and EPA desirable * Strong communication and relationship-building skills * Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel locally
