What You Will Do
* Carry out dimensional inspection of precision machined components using CMM equipment
* Create and run inspection programs using PC DMIS or similar software
* Complete first off, in process and final inspection checks
* Produce clear inspection reports to support quality documentation
* Work closely with machinists and engineers to resolve quality issues and maintain process accuracy
* Support continuous improvement across the quality function
What You Will Need
* Proven experience as a CMM Inspector within a precision engineering environment
* Strong understanding of engineering drawings, GD & T and measurement principles
* Ability to write and edit CMM programs
* High attention to detail and a methodical approach to inspection
* Confident using a range of manual inspection tools including verniers, micrometers and height gauges
