We’re currently seeking an experienced Occupational Health Advisor to join a manufacturing-based organisation in North Wales. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident OH professional who enjoys a mix of health surveillance, case management, health promotion, and hands-on clinical delivery.
Based primarily across two sites (Wrexham & Flint), this role will suit someone who enjoys being embedded in the workplace, supporting employees on the ground, and helping to shape a proactive approach to health and wellbeing.
About the Role
As an OHA, you’ll deliver a wide range of services to ensure compliance, support employee health, and promote wellbeing.
Key responsibilities include:
* Conducting health surveillance (audiometry, spirometry, vision, skin checks, HAVs, FLT medicals, new starter screening, drug & alcohol testing)
* Delivering health promotion campaigns and training sessions on wellbeing topics
* Managing OH cases, liaising with HR and external providers, and maintaining accurate confidential records
* Supporting risk assessments and advising on workplace adjustments for health & safety compliance
* Providing first aid response and flu immunisations on site
* Working with HR and managers to build new processes that enhance employee wellbeing
What We’re Looking For
* Registered Nurse with valid NMC registration
* Post-registration qualification in Occupational Health Nursing (preferable)
* Proven experience in OH, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial setting
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to manage cases confidently and work independently across sites
* Knowledge of UK health & safety legislation and OH best practice
