ArrowXL is now recruiting for a Returns Team Leader to join our busy Warehouse team in Airdrie. Leading a team of hardworking Warehouse Operatives, you will hold responsibility for the smooth operation of our Warehouse function on the PM Shift, ensuring our delivery crews are loaded up to deliver the best service for all our customers.

* 37.5 hours per week, on a 5 over 7 Rota
* Working hours: 14:00 - 22:00, Tuesday to Saturday
* £13.39 per hour, plus 10% Shift Allowance
Reporting to the Warehouse First Line Manager, responsibilities will include:
Operational
* Leading a team of hardworking Warehouse Operatives
* Motivating your team whilst also coaching and developing those that need further support
* Identifying opportunities for improved efficiencies within the Returns function, recommending and implementing changes where needed
* Regular client and supplier contact
* Overseeing the day-to-day handling of returned goods, ensuring that all returned goods are as they should be
* Strict adherence to health and safety regulations and processes
* Good housekeeping and quality standards
* Process stock within the department, working on spreadsheets and updating as necessary
* Stock control, quality control and regular audits
People Management:
* Communicate clearly so that all direct reports and any team members are aware of their objectives and the standards required, ensuring that these are aligned to both functional and broader business objectives.
* Define and manage day to day activities, being clear about priorities to ensure that deadlines are met.
* Accountable for ensuring the quality of the work at ‘Professional’ level and the performance of their team members where applicable.
* Role model positive behaviours in keeping with our values, recognising good / excellent performance whilst being clear and transparent about areas of underperformance concerning direct line reports and their teams.
* Pro-active coaching/ mentoring of other team members to understand the levels of excellence required within their role.
* Provide clear advice and direction on how to change and bring about improvements where these need to be made.
* Pro-actively resolve conflict among team members quickly and fairly.
* Pro-actively manage any poor conduct and / or behaviour in keeping with AXL policy and procedure.
* Pro-actively manage attendance among team members in keeping with AXL policy and procedure.

Role Specific Requirements:
* Experience of Red Prairie, Empactis, Qlikview, ODS, Viewpoint is advantageous.
