Job Title: Component Integration Engineer – EDU / Engine Cooling & Lubrication

We are seeking a skilled Component Integration Engineer to support the design, development, and delivery of systems within the Electric Drive Unit (EDU) or Engine Cooling & Lubrication domain. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in end‑to‑end component lifecycle management, issue resolution, and collaboration with cross‑functional engineering and manufacturing teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the integration, design, development, release, validation, and launch of components within the EDU or Engine Cooling & Lubrication sub‑systems (e.g., oil tanks, pumps, valves, pipes).
* Manage commodity plans to ensure delivery of quality, cost, and timing targets, working closely with suppliers and internal engineering/manufacturing teams.
* Apply structured problem‑solving techniques, including 8D methodology, and provide hands‑on support during prototype builds and testing phases.
* Use relevant digital tools and frameworks to support programme delivery, including Product Creation & Delivery processes, Agile ways of working, and engineering and programme management software such as eAPQP, 3Dx, iCREATE, AIMS, Jira, WERS, Reliasoft.
* Collaborate effectively with multi‑disciplinary engineering squads to ensure seamless integration across systems.
Experience & Skills Required
* Strong understanding of product development processes, delivery frameworks, and core engineering toolsets.
* Proven experience in component integration within EDU or lubrication/cooling systems.
* Practical and theoretical problem‑solving capabilities, including structured root‑cause analysis.
* Ability to manage suppliers, drive deadlines, and balance cross‑functional requirements.
* Excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder‑management skills.
Work Arrangement
On‑site presence required a minimum of 3 days per week.
