Wycombe Wanderers FC is looking for a dedicated and experienced Senior Physiotherapist to join their forward-thinking medical team. The Impact You’ll Make
* Assessment & Treatment: Conduct thorough assessments, deliver evidence-based treatment, and monitor player progress.
* Rehabilitation: Design individualised programs for both injured and non-injured players to optimise performance and prevent future issues.
* Pitch-side Support: Provide immediate care for injuries and medical emergencies during training sessions and matches.
* Collaboration: Work seamlessly with the wider performance team and club doctor to ensure a holistic approach to player health.
* Documentation & Research: Maintain accurate medical records and stay current with advancements in sports medicine to inform your practice.
* Mentorship: Support and guide junior medical staff and interns within the department.
Your Skills and Experience
* A minimum of three years of experience working with elite athletes in a professional sporting environment.
* Exceptional clinical reasoning skills and extensive knowledge of musculoskeletal injuries, rehabilitation, and injury prevention.
* The ability to work calmly under pressure and effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with IT.
* The flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays as required for training and matches.
* A BSc or MSc in Physiotherapy.
* Valid HCPC and CSP registrations.
* An FA ATMMiF qualification, or equivalent.
* A valid UK Driving License.
