We are currently seeking a Care Home Manager to join us on a permanent, full-time basis, working 40 hours per week.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with managerial experience as a Deputy Manager wishing to take the next step to become a Care Home Manager. You will be full supported within the home by two deputies, as well as our dedicated Nominated Individual and the administration team at head office. The Role
As the Manager, you will ensure that the home remains a safe and secure environment for both the residents and staff, all the while delivering the highest level of care.
Managing the delivery of a professional care service, you will complete preadmission assessments and ensure the care respects the individuals' physical, mental and social needs.
Providing expert leadership, you will complete annual appraisals and oversee staff recruitment and development to ensure a broad skill base within the team.
Additionally, you will:
* Maintain effective relationships with medical and care organisations
* Oversee the administration of mediation to residents
* Complete risk assessments and manage H&S
* Knowledge of Infection Prevention Control
* Co-ordinate with kitchen personnel to organise balanced, nutritious menus
* Be able to work two weekends a month
* Have a minimum, an NVQ Level 5 (or equivalent) in Health and Social Care
Ideally, you will have:
* Previous experience in a Care Home Management role, within a dementia care home setting
* Knowledge of the Care Inspectorate and local authority requirements
* Strong commercial awareness and competence within the care industry
* A positive and compassionate approach to delivering care
