Plumber Social Housing & Public Buildings Derby £17.01 per hour Monday to Friday | 8:00am 4:00pm We are recruiting an experienced Plumber to join a busy Capital Works / Property Maintenance team delivering repairs, refurbishments, and new works across housing stock, schools, and public buildings.

The Role You will be responsible for: Carrying out general plumbing repairs and maintenance Installing new plumbing systems and components as required Working within occupied properties and liaising with customers Completing job paperwork electronically or manually Maintaining accurate records for time, materials, and work completed Supporting other trades where required Mentoring apprentices when needed Health, Safety & Professional Standards You will be expected to: Work in line with all Health & Safety legislation and safe working practices Use PPE appropriately at all times Report hazards and incidents Follow data protection and confidentiality requirements Demonstrate a customer-focused approach Work with digital systems and new technology Essential Requirements Relevant plumbing xjlbheb experience (repairs, maintenance, installation) Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good communication skills Flexible approach to working hours Full UK driving licence Personal Attributes Reliable and punctual Able to meet deadlines and targets Professional and customer-focused Self-motivated with good initiative
