SEN Teaching Assistant - Primary SEN School - BoltonStart Date: September 2026We are currently recruiting for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and welcoming primary SEN school in Bolton from September 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity for a caring and committed individual who is passionate about supporting children with special educational needs and helping them achieve their full potential.
The Role:
* Full-time SEN Teaching Assistant position
* Supporting primary-aged pupils with a range of additional needs including ASD, SEMH, MLD and communication difficulties
* Working closely with the class teacher and wider SEN team
* Providing 1:1 and small group support
* Assisting with behaviour management and pupil engagement
* Helping to create a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Previous experience working within an SEN school setting is essential
* Experience supporting children with additional needs
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* A patient, resilient and nurturing approach
* A genuine passion for supporting children with SEN
