We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. Responsibilities
* Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
* Support clients with mobility and physical activities, ensuring their safety at all times.
* Help with meal preparation and feeding, adhering to specific dietary requirements as outlined in care plans.
* Maintain accurate records of client care and progress, updating care plans as necessary.
* Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to care.
* Drive clients to appointments or social activities when required, ensuring their comfort during transportation.
* Participate in training sessions and team meetings to enhance skills and knowledge in healthcare practices.
Skills
* Proficient in English, both spoken and written, to facilitate clear communication with clients and colleagues.
* Strong IT skills for maintaining records and using healthcare software systems.
* Excellent communication skills to build rapport with clients and effectively convey information.
* Experience in a care home or home care setting is advantageous but not essential; a willingness to learn is key.
* Ability to understand and implement care plans tailored to individual client needs.
