We are delighted to be hiring aChef De Partiefor our Café Bar Little Picardy. This is an opportunity to work under the renowned Edinburgh Playhouse and ATG Entertainment brands in a new and exciting way, bringing a sophisticated yet informal dining and drinks offering to Greenside Place.
The experience you need to thrive at ATG:
* Experience as a Chef de Partie
* Excellent organisational skills
* Excellent leadership skills and communication skills
* Experience with food ordering and stock management
* The ability to work under pressure and be able to stick to deadlines
* The ability to work independently and as part of team
As aChef De Partieyou will be expected to perform all relevant kitchen duties including but not limited to:
* Ensuring the cleanliness and tidiness of all working areas
* Preparing food to an exceptional standard
* Supervising the junior members of the Kitchen team
* Ensuring planning and preparation for service is completed in a prompt, organised and efficient manner
* Be aware of booking levels and occupancies, ensuring the correct quantities of food are prepared to avoid unnecessary wastage
* Promoting an effective and efficient communication culture by communicating clearly and calmly
