General job Description / REQUIREMENTS:
This position will require you to work closely with the Senior Site Chemist and Site Supervisors to control the day-to-day operational aspects of The site.
This is a hands-on role and will involve preparation of inspection of incoming waste loads, some preparation of outgoing waste loads, identification of accurate and correct disposal routes for all waste streams, raising non-conformance reports, bulking and some laboratory work
Training and support will be provided wherever necessary.
Other duties on site as necessary.
Minimum of a Batchelors degree in Chemistry or related subject.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE BUT WILL NOT BE LIMITED TO:
Duties will include but will not be limited to the following:
Ø Ensuring full compliance with the site permit
Ø Waste acceptance inspection and testing to determine identification and disposal/recycling routing
Ø Compliance with HSE segregation guidelines
Ø Safe operation of the site
Ø Waste re-packaging/bulking
Ø Raising any non-conformances within agreed time frames
Ø Receipt of paperwork onto the stock tracking/EA reporting log, and with the invoicing admin team, all to pre-agreed timeframes
Ø Laboratory testing of waste samples
Ø Safe use of FLT's
Ø Periods of deputising for the Senior Site Chemist
Ø Preparation of Outgoing Loads to other waste facilities
