What the Job Involves The Compliance Manager (Fire Lead) orchestrates and manages a comprehensive Fire compliance program in accordance with The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, ensuring the safety and compliance of Worcestershire County Council's Corporate and Maintained School premises. Key responsibilities include leading risk assessments, ensuring remedial actions are addressed, monitoring service providers, managing statutory compliances, preparing detailed reports, and supporting staff training. You'll manage, monitor, and review fire policy implementation and risk assessment controls, ensuring timely delivery and quality of fire tasks, including risk assessments and inspections. Responsibilities extend to liaising with project management teams for fire compliance in projects, investigating fire incidents, maintaining detailed records, managing contractor performance, and supporting non-fire statutory compliance in school premises. The role includes developing communication, procurement, and financial plans and ensuring effective stakeholder consultation.
