We have an opportunity for a Repairs Resource Planner to join our team to deliver an efficient and excellent customer experience for repairs, whether delivered by the in-house team or by a contractor. The Role In this key role, youll be the vital link between our customers, operatives, and managersensuring repair work is booked, tracked, and completed efficiently, and that our customers stay informed. As the first point of contact for customers, you will demonstrate a flexible and empathetic approach, actively listening and responding to their needs. Youll take ownership of regular updates from start to finish, and youll handle enquiries with professionalism ensuring issues are resolved efficiently and to a high standard. Supporting the operational side of the service, youll ensure trade diaries are organised, and operatives are working effectively. Youll act as the first line of support for operatives when it comes to diary management, material queries, and gaining access to properties. The role also involves monitoring both internal and external resources to ensure services are delivered on time and within budget. About You We are looking for a highly organised individual with experience of operating a scheduling and appointment planning system for trade operatives. Youll have the ability to co-ordinate repairs with customers, in-house staff and contractors to ensure excellent communication and service standards are met. Strong communication skills, via telephone, face to face and writing, are essential and youll be able to demonstrate a resilient and enthusiastic attitude. Prior experience of a repairs environment within the social housing sector and experience of maintaining and updating housing management systems would be beneficial however not essential.
