You'll be instrumental in creating and installing bespoke instrumentation for high-profile aerospace and defence projects. As an Instrumentation Engineer, you will: Manufacture and install bespoke wiring looms and assemblies, including hand soldering of fine components. Calibrate, maintain, and fault-find sensors, signal conditioning, and data acquisition systems down to component level. Support model assembly and integration for test, providing instrumentation support for all test facilities. Specify required instrumentation from customer specifications and assist in operating the transonic wind tunnel. What We're Looking For HNC/HND level in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (or equivalent experience) and an experienced time-served technician. Proven experience working in an R&D or commercial environment where precision and attention to detail are paramount. Ability to work on a rotating shift pattern (07:00–15:00 and 14:00–22:00) and satisfy UK security clearance requirements (5 years' continual UK residency).
