Your new role as a Mechanical Engineer will involve designing products for the water, wastewater, and energy industries. You will create design data, including 2D drawings, calculations, BOM, equipment schedules, P&ID diagrams, control philosophies, and component specifications. Using SolidWorks and AutoCAD, you will develop designs and fabrication drawings. You will build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients, ensuring effective communication throughout project delivery. Additionally, you will track and monitor information exchanges as per ISO 9001, conduct quality checks on products, develop risk assessments and method statements, liaise with the construction team, and commission equipment. What you'll need to succeed is a minimum 2:2 Honours degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or a related product design or engineering subject, and at least 3 years of post-graduation relevant experience in a similar role.
