Rate: £13.85 per hour (PAYE)
Weekly Earnings: £207.75 (based on 5 morning sessions)
Working Hours: 3 hours paid + 15 minutes unpaid break per session
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Part Time SEN TA to support a Year 3 pupil in our friendly primary school in Camden. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in special educational needs support while making a real difference to a child's educational journey.
Working exclusively during morning sessions, you'll provide tailored one-to-one support to help your assigned pupil access the curriculum and develop their learning skills in a supportive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a Year 3 pupil with special educational needs
2. Assist with curriculum access and learning activities under teacher guidance
3. Support the pupil's social, emotional, and academic development
4. Help implement individualized learning strategies and interventions
5. Work collaboratively with the class teacher and SENCO
6. Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and achievements
7. Foster independence and confidence in learning
8. Support behavioural management strategies as needed
Essential Requirements
9. Availability Monday-Friday mornings during term time is non-negotiable
10. Genuine interest in supporting children with special educational needs
11. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
12. Patience, empathy, and resilience when working with children
13. Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
14. Reliable and punctual attendance
15. Enhanced Child Workforce DBS clearance (essential)
