Role of a Teacher: Teachers must differentiate their instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners in their class. Year 6 teachers prepare students for the Key Stage 2 SATs (Standard Assessment Tests) in English and Mathematics, which are taken at the end of the academic year. They familiarize students with the format of the tests, teach exam techniques, and provide targeted revision support. Teachers differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners in their class. They adapt teaching methods, resources, and activities to accommodate different learning styles, abilities, and interests. Teachers establish a positive and inclusive classroom environment by implementing effective behavior management strategies. They set clear expectations, reinforce positive behavior, and address any issues or conflicts that arise. The successful candidate will: Have previous experience working as a Teacher within an educational setting. Evidence of any additional qualifications, certifications, or postgraduate studies relevant to English teaching, such as a PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) or QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) Hold relevant qualifications or training in education, childcare, or a related field.
