We have an exciting opportunity for Permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join a small animal practice in Scunthorpe, Lincolnshire.
This role is full time for 39 hours per week over 4 days, along with weekends on a rota. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties.
The practice understands the importance of a good work-life balance so whilst there is a shared weekend rota the are flexible and can work around the Vet and see what works best all round.
This is a branch practice which is 1st opinion. The role will involve health checks, consultations, and surgeries. There is sole charge work involved which will form the majority of the role, so it is important that the Vet is confident in this area. There is support available from the Hospital team close by.

Duties and responsibilities:
7. Pet health education
8. Vaccinations and preventative healthcare advocating
9. Patient examinations and diagnostics
10. Surgeries and medical treatments
11. Perform diagnostic laboratory tests, imaging, ultrasound tests where applicable
12. Prescribe medications
13. Patient record maintenance
14. Ensure veterinary ethics, policies, procedures, and compliance are adhered to

Package:
53. Salary: Up to £65, per annum, commensurate to experience
54. Holidays: 33 days annual leave, including bank holidays
