Join our team as a Communications Assistant with offices across Scotland! Job Details: · Location : We have offices in Edinburgh, Bellshill, Inverness, Irvine & Thurso (with Hybrid Working) · Contract : 12 months Fixed Term Contract (Maternity Cover) · Hours : 34.5 hours per week (full-time) Cairn is seeking a dedicated Communications Assistant to support the Communications team and wider organisation to effectively communicate and promote key messages with internal and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: ·Ensure key information to stakeholders is accurate, high quality and informative by maintaining and updating our internal and external communications channels including website, staff intranet, social media and other publications ·Ensure the brand is consistently applied, in accordance with our Brand Guidelines. ·Ensure project deadlines are adhered to by updating a calendar of publications and production schedules (Communications Plan). ·Arrange the printing and distribution of publications. ·Provide excellent customer service to tenants and support tenants and customers with administrative support to enable them to exert meaningful influence on our decision-making processes, in accordance with our statutory requirements. ·Monitor and process supplier invoices and billing to assist the team with budget control ·Provide effective project admin support to the Business Services Directorate to facilitate the delivery of the Business Plan and achieve strategic goals. Requirements: ·Educated to HND level or equivalent and/or substantial experience working in a similar role. A qualification in marketing and/or communications would be desirable but is not essential. ·Experience of the web and social media and the use of Microsoft Office packages, particularly design tools. ·Awareness of best practice in marketing and communications across a range of platforms. ·A willingness to travel to other office locations and remote sites and able to occasionally stay away from home overnight. ·A Basic Disclosure is required for this role.
