Position Overview
The N&S CAMHS DBT Service is looking for an experienced and committed Senior DBT Therapist to join our established Dialectical Behaviour Therapy team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join us in delivering a high-quality, evidence-based Dialectical Behaviour Therapy programme with young people and their parents and carers. There are also opportunities to be involved in our active programme of research and service evaluation, as well as teaching, supervision and consultation to other NHS teams.

Responsibilities
* To provide highly specialist clinical input to the N&S CAMHS DBT Service including specialist assessment, treatment, planning, implementation and monitoring of outcomes.
* To contribute to enabling other staff, service users and carers from diverse backgrounds to flourish by working to create a psychologically safe environment and developing anti‑racism knowledge and practice.
* To provide clinical supervision and consultation as appropriate, within and outside of the team, functioning as a lead specialist in DBT.
* To undertake service evaluation, audit and research projects.
Location
The N&S CAMHS DBT Service is based at the Michael Rutter Centre, De Crespigny Park, SE5 8AZ on the Maudsley Hospital site. Located at Denmark Hill less than 5 minutes from the train station (zone 2) and is within walking distance from the beautiful green spaces of Ruskin Park and the vibrant high‑street that offers great shopping opportunities and with a wide range of restaurants. (Due to move to the Pears Maudsley Children and Young People (PMCYP) at the Maudsley Hospital in early 2026)
Flexible Working
The Trust is proud to offer flexible working as part of our new ways of working, and we are happy to talk flexible working at the interview stage. In this role you will be able to work Monday to Friday from 9a.m. to 5p.m. with occasional slightly earlier starts or later finishes in line with service needs – which will allow a good work‑life balance. (This may include working early mornings, later evenings or Saturdays as part of the core working hours/working pattern for this post)
