Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Fire Alarm and Maintenance Engineer to join our established team based in Marlow. This field‑based role primarily covers a 50‑mile radius, though willingness to travel nationwide and stay overnight when required is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Attend sites for scheduled maintenance.
* Respond to emergency call‑outs, including out‑of‑hours on a rota basis.
* Service fire alarms and extinguishers.
* Maintain a high standard of client care in face‑to‑face interactions, telephone calls, and emails.
* Ensure compliance with systems.
* Optimize efficiencies by combining geography (travel time) and time required on‑site per task.
* Record all activities on company software systems, capturing photos and report sheets.
* Provide first‑class support and feedback to a diverse client base.
Requirements / Qualifications:
* Proven experience in all aspects of Active Fire Alarms and Maintenance.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to manage workloads effectively.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills.
* Analytical mindset with problem‑solving abilities.
* Effective communication skills across all levels of the organization.
* Willingness to travel with possible overnight stays when requested.
* Experience and high‑level working knowledge of Apollo, Gent, Notifier & Advanced systems.
* Electrical background.
* Clean driving licence.
* Capable of fault finding across conventional and addressable systems.
