Our client runs the leading food and music festival in the UK, and the need has arisen to hire a talented events sales professional to join the team.

The Role
Reporting to the head of commercial partnerships, you will be responsible for selling exhibition space for the events to both existing and new clients. Additionally, you will develop bespoke sponsorship opportunities for brands to invest in. You will have the flexibility to propose new revenue-generating ideas and opportunities to increase both sales revenue and, in collaboration with the marketing team, ticket sales.
This is a unique and rare opportunity to work on some of the world’s best events! You will be expected to take on responsibility quickly and learn rapidly. You will collaborate with fantastic colleagues and some celebrities.
If you have a great event idea, you might have the chance to develop and launch it. Essentially, there are no barriers: if you're talented and motivated, you can advance from sales executive to event director within 3 to 4 years.
Key Profile Requirements:
* Experience selling exhibition and/or sponsorship packages
* Proactive, initiative-taker, capable of working independently
* Self-motivated, resilient, determined, assertive, and skilled at handling objections
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
* Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
* Assertive team player comfortable working with strong personalities
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills; credible diplomat and ambassador
* Resilient problem solver and decision-maker
* Experience in generating new business
* Skilled in managing key accounts
* Versatile, able to switch seamlessly from major account management to cold calling smaller clients
