About the role
As a Senior Authorised (SAP) HV Electrical Fitter you will be joining an award winning business and working on numerous client sites maintaining Transformers and Switchgear projects across the UK. This is an important role within our growing Power division here at Ipsum, you will ensure that we are compliance with HV safety rules and procedures at all time and undertake the necessary SAP approved training together with refreshed to ensure your kept up to date with industry knowledge.
As a Senior Authorised Person (SAP) HV Electrical Fitter you will
??Working on HV, LV, Transformers, Switchgear and Associated Equipment.?Carrying out service / remedial works on Equipment.?Able to write up detailed quality reports, daily site reports, carry out electrical testing / fault finding and mechanical modifications and repairs. Routine PPM (planned preventive maintenance) to a manufacturers standard.Be proactive in reporting faults to equipment and have the ability to test LV protection and type up accurate reports of results.?Install HV/LV panels and transformers to manufacturers standard
About you
A thorough understanding of Electrical Power System up to 33kV is key for this role along with operation experience as a HV Electrical Fitter. This role requires high standard of work and the ability to work alone but also as part of a team.
A full UK driving licence and eligibility for a CTC clearance and DBS check is essential. Ideal for someone who is working in a similar role at the moment looking for a new opportunity with a growing business!
