Band 2 Roles Includes
* Level 2 Health Care Apprenticeship
* Care Certificate training
On successful completion of apprenticeship and care certificate (approximately 8 months), you will have the opportunity to progress to a Band 3 Health Care Assistant role within the Trust.
Please note that this role does not qualify for Visa Sponsorship.
Main Duties
* Support the delivery of person‑centred care under the supervision of registered and non‑registered nursing staff.
* Assist patients with personal care (bathing, dressing, toileting, meals).
* Help with non‑clinical duties in a ward or department.
* Ensure patient safety, dignity, and wellbeing at all times.
Core Requirements
* Must be currently in the UK with the right to work
* Meet government apprenticeship eligibility criteria
* High standard of spoken and written English

Core Tasks
* Provide excellent customer care skills to ensure patients come first.
* Act as an advocate for patients within the department/ward/unit.
* Follow FHFT guidelines, policies, and procedures in maintaining safe working practices for patients and colleagues.
* Ensure that patients receive high quality communication and a good experience, having regard for their customs, religious beliefs, or principles.
