About the Role

What You’ll Do

1. Delivering dynamic, differentiated lessons in your Humanities specialism
2. Leading and shaping our new KS4 Humanities qualification pathway
3. Inspiring students to explore the world with confidence and curiosity
4. Creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
5. Working collaboratively with a supportive, passionate team
6. Promoting both academic progress and emotional wellbeing
Who We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a changemaker — a teacher who combines passion and purpose with patience and professionalism.
You’ll need:
7. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)/PGCE
8. Full UK Driving Licence
9. Strong experience or a specialism in Humanities subjects
10. A genuine belief that every young person deserves opportunity and choice
11. The ability to manage challenging behaviour with empathy and consistency
12. Excellent planning, organisation, and communication skills
13. A positive, proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow
Desirable (but not essential):
14. Experience working within SEMH, ASC, or alternative provision settings
15. Experience supporting pupils from disadvantaged or challenging backgrounds
16. A proven track record of raising engagement and achievement
