What you'll be doing:
* Support customers through complex legal claims, assessing and validating indemnity, managing legal representation, and controlling costs.
* Challenge legal representatives when necessary, make decisions on policy cover, and ensure claims progress smoothly.
Main responsibilities:
* Validate legal expenses cover requests and determine appropriate options.
* Authorize claim repudiation or rejection following business rules.
* Oversee legal representatives' handling of claims to manage costs.
* Manage customer expectations, explain decisions, and resolve concerns.
* Ensure compliance with Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) and internal policies.
* Conduct Quality Assurance reviews and provide feedback.
* Identify and manage risks according to the Risk Framework.
What we're looking for:
Experience in legal expenses claims handling or related disciplines, or a Law degree, Cilex, or similar qualification.
