Are you an experienced SEN Teacher with a passion for supporting neurodiverse learners? Career Teachers is recruiting on behalf of a specialist SEN school in Leeds, seeking a skilled and resilient educator to teach secondary-aged students with additional learning needs, including autism and ADHD.
This is a full-time role for the first academic term, with the possibility of extension depending on school needs and performance.
About the Role
* Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning profiles
* Teach students aged 11-16 with a range of additional needs
* Foster a safe, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
* Work closely with support staff, therapists, and families
* Implement effective behaviour management strategies to support emotional regulation and engagement
What We're Looking For
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent)
* Experience in a SEN setting is essential
* Strong behaviour management skills and a proactive approach
* Ability to build trust and rapport with learners who may present with complex needs
* A creative, flexible mindset and a commitment to inclusive education
