Key Responsibilities
Personal & Practical Care
Assist with bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, and mobility support. Administer or prompt medication as agreed with care plans.
Daily Living Support
Aid with meal prep, light cleaning, laundry, shopping, and managing appointments promoting independence in daily life.
Emotional & Social Support
Provide companionship, emotional reassurance, and support individuals to participate in community activities or develop life skills.
Health Monitoring & Reporting
Monitor vital signs, observe changes in condition, and maintain accurate records. Liaise with the wider care team or healthcare professionals as needed.
Safeguarding & Advocacy
Promote independence, uphold dignity, and raise concerns where appropriate. Follow safeguarding protocols in line with organisational standards.
Ideal Candidate Attributes

Enjoys working in a team and able to work autonomously. Good communication and listening skills are essential.

What a Typical Day Looks Like
Morning Assist with personal care, prepare breakfast, administer medication, help with mobility and hygiene.
Midday Support with lunch, household tasks, and enable participation in planned activities.
Afternoon Facilitate social engagement or community outings, assist with appointments or skill-building exercises.
Evening Serve dinner, assist with personal care, and offer companionship or calming support before bed.
