Skelmersdale – Office Based
9:00am–5:00pm (25 hours + per week)
£27,000 Pro-Rata + Monthly Bonus +- £500 per month
The Role
We are recruiting a professional, articulate and experienced Account Manager / Credit Controller to manage outstanding debt within a legal and professional services environment.
This is not a high-volume call centre role.
The successful candidate must have previously worked within a solicitors’ practice or professional legal organisation and understand the standards, tone and confidentiality expected in that environment.
You will be responsible for:
* Managing outstanding invoices within a legal portfolio
* Liaising professionally with commercial clients
* Handling sensitive financial conversations
* Maintaining written correspondence of a high professional standard
* Negotiating structured repayment arrangements where appropriate
* Ensuring accurate system updates and audit compliance
Essential Requirements
✔ Previous experience working within a solicitors’ firm or professional legal organisation
✔ Experience in credit control or debt recovery within a professional environment
✔ Confident handling sensitive financial discussions
✔ Strong written and verbal communication skills
✔ Comfortable working in an office-based, structured environment
Important

If you have only worked in high-volume consumer collections or call centre environments, this role will not be suitable.
