Highland Health and Social Care Services help people from all walks of life, as well as their families or carers. Health and Social Care in Highland provides help and assistance in many situations arising due to illness, disability, old age or poverty.
Responsibilities
* Assist the Care at Home Officer in supporting and supervising a team of Senior Health & Social Care Support Workers within the community to deliver a high standard of holistic care to individuals and their families or carers.
* Provide day‑to‑day professional support to the Senior Health & Social Care Support Workers, including carrying out practice observations, 1‑2‑1 supervision and assisting staff in ensuring compliance with mandatory training and professional registration.
* Conduct regular service user reviews for the in‑house Care at Home Service, independent sector providers and the wider integrated team, and assist in the delivery of a person‑centred Care at Home service to meet assessed needs and personal outcomes in line with the Health and Social Care Standards and Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) codes.
* Collaborate with the wider integrated multi‑disciplinary team.
Qualifications
* Experience of working in a Health & Social Care setting.
* Full, clean driving licence.
* SVQ3 qualification in Health & Social Care.
* Good understanding of general office practice and procedure.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and respect confidentiality.
Working Hours
Monday 09:00–17:00, Tuesday 09:00–15:30, Wednesday and Thursday 12:00–20:00, Friday 09:00–17:00. Additional hours are also available through the integrated staff bank.
