What the Role Involves
* Providing personalised live-in care to older adults in their own homes
* Supporting with personal care including washing dressing and mobility
* Preparing nutritious meals and assisting with hydration
* Medication prompting (where trained)
* Providing companionship and emotional support
* Helping clients maintain independence and routines
* Keeping clear and accurate daily care records
What We’re Looking For
* Experience in elderly care (live-in experience desirable but not essential)
* A kind patient and compassionate nature
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently within a clients home
* Right to work in the UK
* PVG membership (or willingness to obtain one)
* Must live in or near Edinburgh
