Join us as a Medical Secretary/PA at Aneurin Bevan University Health Board
We are inviting applications for the position of Medical Secretary/PA within the Trauma and Orthopaedic Department. This role offers an exciting development opportunity for a dedicated individual with excellent administrative, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities include:
1. Typing correspondence, clinic letters, ward rounds, and reports accurately within departmental standards, requiring proficiency in keyboard skills, medical terminology, and secretarial procedures.
2. Managing the electronic diary of consultants, arranging meetings, and ensuring they are fully briefed on upcoming commitments.
3. Coordinating meetings for the Clinical Director and taking minutes of departmental meetings.
4. Providing secretarial support to consultants and team members, and general departmental support as needed.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable, but applications from English speakers are equally welcome. This is a fixed-term/secondment position until 31st March 2026, subject to funding.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
* RSA III or equivalent experience
* Previous secretarial experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

* Ability to work under pressure calmly and efficiently
