About the role:
We’re looking for a Network Engineer with technical expertise and a passion for solving complex problems. You’ll play a pivotal role in our Managed Services team, supporting critical infrastructure and troubleshooting of network and security solutions.
This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in dynamic environments, brings a methodical approach to problem-solving, and is confident working across a wide range of technologies.
Here’s what the role looks like:
1. Provide support to clients for technical incidents
2. Diagnose and resolve network and security-related issues
3. Manage change control and risk assessments across managed service environments
4. Implement infrastructure changes and upgrades with precision and minimal disruption
5. Maintain and improve technical documentation, policies, and procedures
6. Manage vendor escalations and technical case handling
7. Perform regular maintenance and patching of network and security systems
8. Mentor junior engineers and share technical knowledge
What We’re Looking For:
9. Proven experience in network engineering roles
10. Understanding of network security, firewalls, VPNs, and monitoring tools
11. Logical and methodical approach to troubleshooting and implementation
12. Excellent communication and documentation skills
13. Ability to lead by example and mentor others
14. Passion for continuous improvement and delivering high-quality service
Requirements
Here are the key skills and experience relevant to this role:
Key Skills & Experience:
15. Experience in a similar role, or field-based
16. CCNA Certification is desirable
17. A valid driving license is essential, as travel may be required
18. Experience troubleshooting enterprise networks and associated technologies
19. Understanding of Wide Area Networking technologies and routing protocols such as EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP
20. Proficiency with tools like Wireshark and other network troubleshooting utilities

Experience administering and troubleshooting the following technologies and platforms:
21. Cisco Routing & Switching
22. Cisco Wireless
23. Meraki Routing & Switching
24. Meraki Wireless
Beneficial Experience (Not Essential)
25. Cisco Meraki Technologies, including Wireless, Switching, Security (MX), and SD-WAN
26. Firewall administration (Cisco ASA/FTD, Palo Alto, Fortinet)
27. Cisco SD-WAN, including vManage, vSmart, and vEdge components, with experience in deployment, administration, and troubleshooting
28. Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE)
29. Cisco Catalyst Center
30. Voice infrastructure (Cisco CUCM, MS Teams, WebEx)
