We are now seeking a dynamic Practice Director – Primary Care to join our leadership team. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced people and business leader who wants to make a meaningful impact across clinical standards, client care, financial performance, and team development.
Roles and Responsibilities
As Practice Director, you will:
* Lead the operational and financial performance of your practice in partnership with the Lead Vet and central support teams.
* Must have experience in holding full P&L accountability to drive change and performance through a people and customer centric lens
* Drive excellence in patient and client care, embedding a culture of continuous improvement and wellbeing.
* Provide strategic leadership, guiding your Senior Leadership Team (Lead Vet, Clinical Nursing Manager/Practice Manager).
* Oversee all key business areas including leadership, HR, operations, health & safety, client care, and marketing.
* Collaborate with central partners (Finance, HR, Marketing, Clinical Leadership) to deliver practice strategy and performance.
* Inspire, coach, and develop teams to achieve their full potential.
About You
We're looking for a leader who combines strong business acumen with a genuine passion for veterinary care.
Essential skills & experience:
* Proven leadership and management experience.
* Strong financial awareness, including budget management.
* Track record of coaching, mentoring, and developing others.
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
* A commitment to clinical quality and client experience.
Desirable:
* RVN qualification or experience in Veterinary/Healthcare setting
* Leadership or business management qualification.
