Milk Education are working in partnership with a welcoming and ambitious secondary school to recruit a dedicated Maths Teacher for a long-term, full-time position starting in September 2026. This role offers consistency and the opportunity to make a real impact, with potential for a permanent position for the right candidate.
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality Maths lessons across Key Stages (KS3 and KS4, KS5 desirable), supporting students to build confidence and achieve strong outcomes. This is a full teaching role, including planning, marking, assessment, and active involvement in the wider school community.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons in line with the national curriculum
2. Develop students’ numerical, problem-solving, and analytical skills
3. Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
4. Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners
5. Create a positive and focused classroom environment
6. Contribute to departmental planning and whole-school activities
Requirements:
7. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
8. Experience teaching Maths within a UK secondary school
9. Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
10. Ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities
11. Commitment to raising attainment and supporting student progress
