HR Project Consultant (Fixed Term Contract)

£40,000 per annum + benefits
3-4 months fixed term contract
We're working with a well-established manufacturing business to support a key HR project and are looking for an experienced HR Project Consultant to join them on a short-term basis.
This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role where you'll take ownership of reviewing, updating, and implementing core HR documentation and processes. You'll play a key role in ensuring the business is compliant, consistent, and set up for future growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and update the employee handbook
Audit and revise HR policies and procedures
Support rollout of updated employment contracts
Refresh job descriptions across the business
Ensure compliance with current UK employment legislation
Provide guidance on employment rights and HR best practice
Work closely with stakeholders to implement changes
Identify gaps and recommend process improvementsAbout You:
Proven generalist HR experience (Advisor level or above)
Strong knowledge of UK employment law
Experience delivering HR projects or policy/contract reviews
Able to work independently and drive outcomes
Confident engaging with stakeholders
CIPD qualified (or equivalent) desirableWhat's on Offer:
