Our client is a prominent accountancy and tax advisory practice, they are part of a growing top 40 accountancy practice who provide expert solutions for entrepreneurial businesses and private individuals.
They have several offices in Central and Southern England and have ambitious plans to expand their business. To support the organisation’s growth, they have created a new opportunity for a Personal Assistant to join their Winchester team. This is a permanent, full-time role with flexible working options.
Job Requirements – Personal Assistant:
* GCSEs in Maths and English at grade 5 or above (or equivalent).
* Highly organised, able to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Highly computer literate, good Microsoft Office skills including Excel
* Able to prioritise workload effectively and work in a flexible manner.
* High attention to detail and accuracy.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Enjoys a fast-paced work environment.
* A self-starter with a with a high level of resilience.
* Demonstrates a strong team spirit but also very effective working independently.
* A positive “can do” attitude with a strong desire to learn and develop.
* Previous PA experience is highly desirable.
Job Responsibilities – Personal Assistant:
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Acting as a first point of contact for calls, dealing with emails and phone calls by responding, passing on messages or highlighting them for the attention of the Head of Tax
* Support the Head of Tax in managing and maintaining an effective diary system in a systematic and structured way and demonstrate prioritisation, allocation, and organisation of appointments
* Proactive support with workflow management and appropriate delegation across the tax department.
* Meet and greet office visitors and support the existing admin team.
* Support operations team in facilities management.
* Help with internal and external events.
* Ensure a great client experience with both in-person visitors and telephone contact with clients and suppliers.
* Undertake relevant project work as required.
* Work as part of the wider Business Support Team engaging and supporting other Administrators across the business as required.
