Business Development Manager
Paragon Food Group, the UK's leading burger manufacturer, is expanding beyond its core foodservice operations into two exciting new ventures. To help us drive their success, we're looking for a motivated and people-focused Business Development Manager to join our team.
The Projects
1. Delivery Driver App
A new platform connecting drivers with local takeaways.
* Identify, visit, and sign up takeaway partners
* Support them in using the app effectively
* Recruit and engage drivers
* Build and maintain relationships to ensure long-term success
2. Virtual Franchise Concept
A dark kitchen model that enables takeaways to run our brand as a virtual restaurant.
* Identify, pitch, and sign up takeaway partners
* Launch them on delivery platforms such as Just Eat
* Provide ongoing support to maximise performance
Key Responsibilities
* Drive adoption of both projects through field visits and calls
* Build trust and maintain strong relationships with takeaway owners and drivers from diverse cultural and professional backgrounds
* Deliver results against growth, sign-up, and revenue targets
* Support partners with onboarding, training, and troubleshooting
* Report on activity and performance to management
* Gather market feedback to shape product development and business strategy
Requirements
* Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management
* Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills
* Proactive, resilient, and results-driven
* Able to work independently while following structured guidance
* Experience in hospitality, foodservice, or takeaway/delivery sector
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly
