About the Role
Reporting directly to our Sales and Marketing Director, you will step into a pivotal role where you will manage and expand a thriving customer portfolio while driving both operational and customer growth. Leveraging your expertise in stakeholder management and product development, you will take the lead in acquiring, developing, and converting emerging accounts into long-term partnerships.
You will be responsible for delivering on targeted KPIs across prospecting, customer acquisition, and engagement — ensuring your efforts are always results-driven. You will collaborate closely with our Marketing function and contribute compelling marketing content and represent the business at key industry events and seminars. As a strategic thinker, you will play a crucial role in developing large-scale, long-term business propositions that align with our sales strategy and ambitious 5-year growth plan.
What you will need…
·Proven sales experience in the utility sector, with a strong track record of exceeding targets and driving revenue growth.
·In-depth knowledge of the utility landscape, including Independent Connection Providers (ICP) and Independent Distribution Network Operators (IDNO), and a clear understanding of the commercial opportunities within the space
·Business development expertise: a mindset with the ability to identify, engage, and convert new prospects into loyal customers
·Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills, both internally and externally, at all levels of seniority
·A proactive, solutions-focused approach, combined with a deep customer-first mentality
