Equans is looking for a Security Officer to join our team in National Distribution Centre, Gothard Green Way, Goddards Green, BN6 9ZJ. This is a permanent, full time role working 42 hours per week. On offer is salary of £27,.00 per annum and benefits package.
Shift Pattern:
4 on/4 off - 12 hour shifts days - 06.00 - 18.00
What will you deliver?
As a Security Officer, you will form part of a fully integrated guarding service which is operational 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, days a year, ensuring that the service provided is professional, timely and in keeping with all contractual requirements. The aim of the service is to provide a safe and secure environment for all occupants and buildings.
Key Responsibilities
1. To provide support to all buildings associated to the Roche Contract.
2. To Provide Alarm Monitoring duties for the critical areas within in the site.
3. To ensure access control and visitor monitor and booking systems are complied with.
4. To ensure regular patrols and inspections of the estate in accordance with site instructions; visitors are greeted and relevant security procedures carried out; correct adherence to all reporting structures and maintaining of correct protocol.

Who are we looking for?
5. Previous experience as a Security Officer
6. Hold an SIA Licence (essential)
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Knowledge of security procedures and protocols
