Role Accountabilities: Support the Fleet Engineer in ensuring the performance, safety, and reliability of fleet operations Use technical expertise to promote and maintain a proactive fleet engineering culture Assist in the investigation and resolution of fleet-related incidents Help develop and maintain an effective fleet maintenance strategy Ensure the tanker fleet remains roadworthy, compliant, and within operating budgets Monitor and manage supplier performance to deliver quality, compliance, and cost efficiency The Candidate: Qualifications and experience of HGV engineering and maintenance. (NVQ L3) Knowledge of the operation and construction of vacuum tankers is desirable but not essential. Training will be given. A solid understanding of transport legislation, compliance, and regulations, including dangerous goods (ADR). Elevated level of competency of IT literacy. Excellent communication skills, written and verbal. Be dynamic with the ability to take initiative and proactively manage your time to ensure an elevated level of efficiency and output. Excellent stakeholder management skills A full UK driving licence required.
