Role Overview
The Event Sales Manager will be responsible for managing and converting wedding and event enquiries into confirmed bookings. This role requires exceptional sales skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering an exceptional guest journey. From initial lead handling, through creating memorable show-rounds, to finalising contracts, you will be the key point of contact for couples and clients planning their dream event at Woodhall Manor.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead Management:
* Respond promptly and professionally to all incoming enquiries.
* Qualify leads and manage them effectively through the Zoho CRM system.
* Guest Journey & Sales Process:
* Communicate with potential clients to schedule and coordinate venue tours.
* Deliver engaging, informative, and personalised sales tours of Woodhall Manor.
* Take time to fully understand each couple's vision, priorities, and requirements.
* Confidently present the unique selling points of the venue and tailor solutions to suit client needs.
* Create and send detailed, professional proposals using Better Proposals.
* Provide timely responses to all client queries throughout the sales process.
* Build strong, trusting relationships to secure bookings and long-term client satisfaction.
* Booking Conversion:
* Manage the sales pipeline effectively to achieve and exceed sales targets.
* Proactively follow up with couples after tours to maintain engagement.
* Negotiate and confirm bookings, ensuring all contractual details are accurate and compliant.
* Collaboration & Reporting:
* Work closely with the wider team to ensure seamless handover of confirmed bookings to the planning and latterly operations team.
* Maintain accurate records of enquiries, tours, proposals, and conversions.
* Report regularly on sales performance, pipeline activity, and market trends.
Skills & Experience
* Proven track record in sales, preferably within weddings, hospitality, or events.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect authentically with clients.
* Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
* Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple enquiries and bookings simultaneously.
* Proficiency in CRM systems and digital proposal platforms (experience with Better Proposals is an advantage).
* Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable experiences.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £27,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
