Hays Senior Finance are working on behalf of their exclusive client based in Inverness for a permanent Group Accountant position with potential career progression to Financial Controller for the right individual. Salary is £45,000 - £55,000 depending on experience + 31 days annual leave, pension, annual bonus and hybrid working. Thispany will consider both full-time and part-time options.
Your new role
Reporting in to the Group Financial Controller; you will be responsible for providingprehensive financial analysis and advice on various business operations, including revenue & expenditure, financialmitments & future revenue for your designated entities. You willplete monthly management accounts including variance analysis &mentary. You willplete budgeting & forecasting, P & L reporting & balance sheet work. You will prepare financial information for director / board meetings to aid in decision-making. You will finance business partner with various internal & external stakeholders and you will ensure statutorypliance including audit.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a Qualified Accountant (part qualified may also be considered) with strong experience within amercial & fast-paced finance department. You will have excellent experience in management accounting including variance analysis alongside technical financial accounting & reporting. You will have good analytical skills with an ability to problem solve. You will have excellentmunication skills and be able to explain financial information to non-financial stakeholders. You will have excellent IT skills and also strong organisational skills with an ability to meet various strict deadlines. Experience of group and / or international accounting is a bonus but not essential.
