Responsibilities
Support & Maintain: Deliver technical support for VMware, Tanzu, Dell VxRail, and Dell Data Domain platforms. Troubleshoot & Secure: Diagnose issues across key management and access systems such as HashiCorp Vault, Thales HSM, and BeyondTrust. Administer & Optimise: Manage Windows Server 2022, Hyper-V environments, and system performance monitoring. Collaborate & Document: Work with cross-functional teams to enhance infrastructure and maintain comprehensive documentation. Respond & Resolve: Participate in an on-call rota to ensure business-critical systems remain operational 24/7.
Qualifications
* Hands-on experience in infrastructure or support engineering.
* Experience working in Defence or other secure, regulated environments.
* Familiarity with VMware, Microsoft, or Security technologies (certifications desirable).
* Knowledge of Hyper-converged Infrastructure and network principles.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Desirable
* Knowledge of cross-domain technologies (e.g., Tiger Traps, Garrison, OpsWat, NiFi).
* Exposure to DevOps tools such as GitLab, Harbor, FluxCD, and Kubernetes.
* Familiarity with Elastic for monitoring and analytics.
Location & Working Arrangements
Working on site five days a week in Chippenham.
