Exciting opportunities await! We are continuously hiring to meet the diverse needs of our students.

At Targeted Provision, we are dedicated to transforming the educational landscape for young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Disabilities (SEND), including those with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges. We are passionate about supporting children with Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) and Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD).

We are seeking enthusiastic SEN / SEND tutors who are committed to making a real difference in the lives of disengaged, at-risk, and vulnerable learners in Lancashire. If you have a genuine passion for education and a desire to uplift young minds, we want to hear from you!

As part of our team, you will be supported by our dedicated SEN / SEND Support Specialists, ensuring that you have the resources and guidance needed to succeed in every placement.

Your Role as an SEN / SEND Tutor:

* Provide engaging tuition in Maths, English, or Science to young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and other educational needs.
* Support students referred by local authorities and schools, helping them navigate their educational and social-emotional journeys.
* Deliver flexible, holistic, and trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring tailored to each student's unique needs.


Key Responsibilities:

* Plan and prepare each tutoring session to ensure engaging and effective learning experiences.
* Deliver holistic sessions that advance both educational and social-emotional development.
* Complete lesson reports and provide constructive feedback on student progress.


Requirements to Join Our Team:

* Professional Teaching Qualifications (QTS/QTLS).
* Minimum of 2 years teaching experience.
* Experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or other educational needs.
* Knowledge of safeguarding processes.
* Enhanced DBS (we can assist with obtaining this at cost).
* Two professional references.
* Must be based in the UK with the right to work, even for remote assignments.

It is essential that you promote the health, safety, and wellbeing of children and young people while adhering to safeguarding policies at all times.


Employment Status:

* Engage with us as a Worker for short-term assignments as they arise.
* Work through a contract for service and receive payment via PAYE.
* No guaranteed work or expense coverage is provided.
* Our insurance covers the work you do for us.
* This is not a self-employed tutoring position.
