What you will do:
* Support the Team Manager in overseeing the Children in Need Team, ensuring high standards of practice.
* Allocate and coordinate cases within the team, providing guidance and supervision to social workers and support staff.
* Lead and contribute to case discussions and risk assessments, promoting the safety and wellbeing of children and young people.
* Engage with families, professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure a collaborative approach to care planning.
* Use analytical skills to monitor and evaluate service delivery, making recommendations for improvements.
* Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and local policies.
* Participate in continued professional development to maintain a high standard of practice.
