Health and Care Service Manager
Location: Swansea and surrounding area
Salary: £28,507 per annum, pro rata
Hours: 17.5 per week
Contract: Fixed term contract (until end of Mar 26)
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential (Business mileage will be reimbursed)

For over 75 years, the British Red Cross has supported the NHS and provided a lifeline for vulnerable individuals and supported people in crisis following an emergency.If you are organised and motivated then this is a fantastic opportunity to join our Health and Care team as aService Manager.You will manage health and care services, ensuring all appropriate standards and requirements are met and service contracts maintained.
What does a day in the life of a Service Manager involve?
* Ensuring services are developed and implemented within the framework of national guidelines and to national expectations but flexed to meet local needs.
* Ensuring the area is working within Corporate Plan; service standards are achieved and maintained.
* Supportingdevelopmentsand contracts.
* Quality and performance management.
* Line management of staff.
What does it take to be a successful Service Manager?
* Management experience and excellent organisational skills with an ability for prioritising your own & other people’s workload against competing deadlines.
* Experience of working in a health or social care setting or voluntary organisation and delivering high quality services to people in need.
* Sound working knowledge of Microsoft 365; Outlook, word processing, presentation and spread sheet packages.
* Ability to prepare, manage and monitor budgets.
